Guardianship Certificate

Requirements for Guardianship certificate ?

Must be a minor or minors under the age of 18 years D.F. MULLA’s Principles of Muhammadan Law, Section 235
The documents of Divorce or separation is not require for appointment of the natural guardian.
The documents of divorce , separation or death of any spouse is require for appointment of next guardian.
B Form or Birth certificate of minor or minors.
Educational Certificates and other education record if minor is student.
The document of divorce , separation or death certificate.
CNIC of petitioner
proof of relation with minor
Marriage certificate where petitioner is father or mother of minor
Family Registration certificate to establish relationship with minor
Any other document which may be necessary.

Procedure for Guardianship certificate?

Guardian ward act 1890.

After getting a Guardianship certificate, The guardian may apply application for permission to get cnic , passport or travel permission abroad.
The minor / minors may apply cnic or passport , but nadra and passport office issue cnic or passport after verification permission letter through post office.it usually take 10-15 days for verification , if you engage the lawyer or law firm .otherwise verification process can not complete due to our govt department work.
